1. Stop in a safe, level place, switch on hazard lights, set the parking brake, and follow the vehicle manual.
2. Confirm the straps can pass through the wheel openings without touching brake lines, sensors, or other components.
3. Install evenly on the drive wheel or axle specified by the vehicle manufacturer, with the textured pad centered on the tread.
4. Tighten and lock each strap securely, then move a short distance and recheck tension and position.
5. Drive slowly for only the distance needed. Obey posted chain-control rules and the lowest speed limit stated by the product, vehicle maker, or road authority.
