Big blades for straight cutting. Sharp blades. Starting the cut with the blade so far in front of the sabersaw is dicy. I can't see the start of the cut if the blade is reversed so the saw starts with the sabersaw going backwards. That is to ensure the correct blade angle with the cut. That could just be me. But some skill using these will knock that detail away. And using a fence with going backwards should maintain the proper cut angle and allow the correct cut. Just a matter of adjusting to these blades.
